The Vijay Sondhi Memorial Legal Writing Championship
Vijay believed deeply in the power of ideas to shape justice and the strength of words to move hearts and minds. The Vijay Sondhi Memorial Article Contest has been created to honor his memory and the ideals he lived by.
We invite young lawyers and students to question, reflect, and write about the subjects that stirred his passion and guided his purpose. Our aim with this initiative is to inspire lawyers to uphold the values of excellence, integrity, and compassion, as Vijay did.

of the contest
Topics for each edition of The Vijay Sondhi Memorial Legal Writing Championship are announced on the 15th of every month.
Current Topic: The Present Law on Pre-Litigation Mediation: Scope, Efficacy, and the Test to Determine Urgency for Exemption under Section 12A of the Commercial Courts Act
Participants are required to submit their articles by the 25th of the same month.
